Descendants of William Ferguson

This project is an attempt to track the descendants of William Ferguson. William & Annie never came to Australia. We have now established that his parents were Donald and Margaret Gillenders.

He was born in 1804 in Kirriemuir, Forfarshire, Scotland and died there in 1869.
He married Mary Anne (Annie) McIntosh on 29 Nov 1835 in Kirriemuir, Forfarshire, Scotland.
Two of their sons, John and William emigrated to South Australia in 1866. Donald (Daniel) emigrated to Victoria in 1869 and James, with his family to South Australia in 1879. The family has expanded considerably over the years and spread throughout the Eastern States of Australia. A small number now reside in Western Australia.

I have had a while off from playing in our tree. John has done a lot of work during 2015, including finding the birth of William, which has now been added. Many thanks to all who have contributed over the years. More information is always welcome and photo's are a real bonus. 234
